Amazing that it is almost the middle of July, but a lot of good things are happening in the music world…

Music Festivals of all kind in the area, and Great Music at many of the local Fairs; We were fortunate to spend last Sunday evening listening and watching SWITCHBACK performing at the Dubuque Arboretum.  Cool breezes, lawn chairs and shade trees made it a particularly wonderful event!!!

The fall Music Season at FUN FUN FUN will soon be here.  We will be hosting a very authentic Irish group called the BLACK VELVET BAND September 19, 7pm.   A $10 donation is suggested for admission.

October 3, 8 PM will be the return engagement of SWITCHBACK, this year a meal will also be served from 6-7:30 PM at the Memorial Hall, enjoy both

for just $25.

We have been connecting with musicians and resource people to make this an enjoyable and fun year for you at FUN FUN FUN!!!

We recently spent and enjoyable Sunday afternoon at Stone City and heard several entertainers; it was an enjoyable event.

Saturday, we attended the performance of "RIDERS IN THE SKY", at the Ohnward Cultural Center, Maquoketa, IA. great fun to see such Classic Musicians, and introduced by the famous Red Hinton.

While there we visited with Mary McAndrew and Neil Zaborowski, they are known as LOST NATION STATION, have appeared at FUN FUN FUN twice; they shared some ideas and we apppreciate that very much.

Plans are in the making to have SWITCHBACK at FUN FUN FUN for a return performance this fall, I have requested a program fo half Celtic Music, I know that there is lots of interest in hearing more of that!!!

So Music Lovers, keep posted, things are moving forward, for your listening pleasure!!!
